00:00 Speaker A Here's where I want to turn, the data center and AI build out. CNBC citing $173 million worth of General Election data center advertising, almost all negative already coming in. 140 million of that by democratic advertisers who have come out against it. Stateline citing an NBC exit poll, 56% of voters calling AI data AI and data centers a crucial or major factor in their vote. Let's start in Texas. Hinojosa winning, beating out Abbott. Part of her platform is a moratorium or requirements. Texas is supposed to be responsible for a quarter of the capacity by 2030. If you're an investor looking at tech right now, 00:39 Speaker A you're looking at Ohio, you're looking at Iowa, you're looking at Texas. How do you read this? What's the first brush here? 00:46 Speaker B Yeah. I mean, I I think that investors are are going to be trepidacious about this and you kind of see that in some of the neo cloud stocks this morning and even Tesla and SpaceX, right? Which SpaceX is is very much Texas based and I think that that stock is directly reacting to this and you can see investors sentiment on that is is just purely negative, but 01:21 Speaker A A repudiation of Elon Musk, for sure. 01:23 Speaker B Absolutely. And and, you know, but I I I think a few things will come to play. You know, there's there's a whole broad topic around AI and data centers and all of this too. You know, part of it is around regulation, part of it is actually building the data centers, part of it is the credit risk in the market and things like this. And I think that, you know, as as AI develops and, you know, we kind of get more comfortable around regulating AI and implementing AI, perhaps some of the topics around building data centers will also loosen up and where we can build those data centers will also loosen up. But, you know, it's it's not super promising as you mentioned in in Texas and some of the key states. 01:52 Speaker C we we talk about, you know, what's on the ballot this year and it really was. 01:54 Speaker A I mentioned prices, but also 01:55 Speaker C it's it's a data center stuff. It's not just where the data centers are located, right? I don't want to necessarily build out near my house. I don't want to hear the gas turbine spinning, the fumes coming out, the water stuff. It's about why is AI being sort of shoveled upon me? Why is it being stuffed down my throat when I didn't ask for it, right? That's the problem. And that's where we're seeing that in the stocks right now, right? You know, the they made key gains Dems did in in places like Texas, uh where public opposition was growing and this is what probably hurt Paxton a lot. Uh but you mentioned names like, you know, IRN, HUD8, Applied Digital, CoreWeave, all dropping here. But the hyperscalers are doing well right now.
