On Monday, user Jeff Fantin took to the social media platform X, saying that he and his son, while making their way back from the X Takeover event hosted by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, met with an accident on the freeway. "My son and I are sitting in the ER alive tonight thanks to my Tesla and God's grace," Fantin said.

He credited the vehicle's safety features with saving their lives. "This is a true testimonial to how safe these freaken Teslas are," Fantin said.

Talks of Tesla's safety come as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) launched a probe into the company's Robotaxi network after reports emerged that the vehicles, the Model Y Robotaxi and the Cybercab, were speeding in school zones.
